Lucky Dog Refuge Trusts the Invisible Fence^® Brand System for their 7 Family Rescue Dogs and Recommends the System to Their Adopters

Lucky Dog Refuge, located in Stamford, Connecticut, was founded by Kirstin and Maria Mende in 2020 as a safe haven for animals in need. As a family, the Mendes have 7 rescue dogs and all the family dogs were quickly trained to the Invisible Fence^® Brand system.

Lucky Dog Refuge is named after one of their most recent rescue stories, their dog Lucky. Lucky was found badly abused in West Virginia and after several surgeries and months nursing him back to full health, he is happily able to frolic in the yard with his 6 canine siblings.

After rescuing and helping Lucky get back on his paws, the Mendes realized they wanted to help more dogs just like Lucky, which is why they founded Lucky Dog Refuge in his name. Since 2020 their organization has really grown as they have a bigger facility, they now have more space to rescue more animals.
